Hanabishi earns Superbrands seal

HANABISHI Home Appliances bags one of the coveted seals of brand excellence as it achieves the Superbrands Philippines’ Choice status to join the ranks of the country’s most prestigious products and services recognized by Superbrands Marketing International Inc. (SMI).

Mr. Jasper S. Ong, Hanabishi President/CEO, and Mr. Jevon S. Ong, Hanabishi Vice President and Purchasing Head, received the award during the tribute night ceremony held last August 31 at the City Club, Alphaland Makati Place in Makati City.

Superbrands, an organization with offices in more than 50 countries, gives distinction to outstanding brands that adhere to SMI Council’s stringent criteria on brand excellence, which include having quality products and services, good management practices, market dominance, and more. Brands are nominated to become a member of the Superbrands by invitation of the council only. In the Philippines, the membership program is for two years.

Receiving the Superbrands Philippines’ Choice seal for 2016-2017, Hanabishi is featured in Volume IX of the Superbrands Publication. The locally-founded brand has been operating for 30 years and has always been committed to providing the Filipinos with quality yet affordable home appliances. Today, Hanabishi is the leading home-grown appliance brand in the country in terms of volume sales, and it continues to widen its product lines which currently include kitchen appliances, garment care appliances, ventilation and air conditioning, and entertainment products.

As a company, Hanabishi puts a high premium on work ethics and complying with safety standards and labor laws of the country. It provides hundreds of jobs to Filipinos with a view to improving the lives of its workforce. As well, it is committed to provide quality after-sales service to its customers.
