Davao cop’s killer still unidentified

THE Davao Oriental Provincial Police Office (DOPPO) is still investigating the killer's dentity of the slain police officer last October 3, in Barangay Poblacion, Mati City.

Senior Superintendent Harry Espela, DOPPO Director, said they believed that Inspector Jay Reuben Plaza’s death has something to do with his work.

Plaza was an investigator of the homicide and arson Section of the Mati City Municipal Police Office.

The Mati PNP is also trying to get hold of CCTV footage from surrounding establishments.

It was learned that Plaza confided to his colleagues that someone approached and talked to him regarding a case he filed.
