2 sugarcane workers stabbed dead

TWO sugarcane workers were stabbed to death by their two co-workers at Barangay Cansilayan in Murcia, Negros , on Sunday, October 9.

Police identified the fatalities as Jolibert Padrillan, 19, and Apolinario Nietes, 40, both from Antique town.

Initial investigation showed last September 29, the victims were involved in a rumble with the suspects identified as Emilio Pangudtuhan, 23, and another unidentified companion, both from Bago City.

A heated argument ensued between them on Sunday that led to the death of the two victims.

Murcia Municipal Police Station Chief Lawrence Bathan said over Aksyon Radyo Bacolod Pangudtuhan is facing murder charges while his companion is still at-large. (GYM)
