DEFENDING champions Berkeley and Saint Louis University Laboratory High School takes on separate foes and gun for a return to the finals of the Milo Best Twin Tournament October 15.

Passerrelle division defending champion SLU-LHS A takes on the University of the Cordilleras in the 12:15 tiff while the small basketeers of the Philippines titlist Berkeley tangles with Saint Louis College - La Union in their 1:30 p.m. knock out semis game at the Easter College gym.

In the other Baguio leg semis pairing, SLU - Laboratory Elementary School meanwhile aims for another finals appearance as it squares off with UC in the SBP division at 11 in the morning.

SLC La Union – A, who fell short against SLU-LHS A in last year’s passerelle finals, meanwhile eyes vengeance hoping to dispatch familiar foe in Berkeley in the other passerelle semis match-up.

The event is organized by the Basketball Efficiency and Scientific Training (BEST) Center, the country’s premiere sports clinic, and supported by MILO in cooperation with Chris Sports and SKLZ.

The SBP-Passerelle Twin Tournament provides a venue for young basketeers to show their skills in the basketball event.

Chris Tiu,Kobe Paras, and Kiefer Ravena are just some of the national basketball stars who started their career in SBP-Passerelle.

THE SBP division is for the kids 9-11 years old while the Paserrelle Division are for the kids aged 12-14 years old. Modified ground rules ensure that all players will be able to play for at least one quarter as each quarter requires a different set of five players for both teams.

The tournament is held around the country with provincial legs being played in Pangasinan, Pampanga, Lucena, Roxas for Luzon, Iloilo, Bacolodfor Visayas and , Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Zamboanga, Cebu and Metro Manila for NCR.

The Tournament also provides a venue for young cagers to showcase their skills.
