A BUSINESSMAN under the drug watch list of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency was killed in San Carlos Heights Thursday evening while several others were collared in a separate buy busts.
Police identified the victim as Dominic Fernandez Tan, 41, who was shot near his residence at 9:00 p.m. by still unidentified suspects after alighting from a taxi together with his family.
The police report revealed the suspect was later rushed to the hospital but eventually died while undergoing operation at the Baguio General Hospital for sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities recovered five caliber .45 cartridge case and two fired 9mm cartridge.
Earlier, Antonio Bustamante Arevalo was arrested in a buy bust by officers of Baguio City Police Station 10 in coordination with PDEA agents in Dontogoan.
Seized from the suspect were two pieces of heat sealed sachets containing undetermined amount of shabu and P1,000 buy bust money.
Records show the suspect is listed among the drug personalities in the area and the No. 1 Sibat Target list of station 10.
Erwin Dela Pena Roc, Marvin Salvador Valenton and Mark Anthony Phola Carino were also arrested by anti drug agents of the city along Legarda Road on October 13.
The buy bust operation yielded six sachets of undetermined amount of shabu and a P500 bill used as buy bust money.
