SANTOS Land Development Corporation (SLDC), a homegrown property developer, marked another milestone as it celebrated its 45 years of delivering excellent and quality living in Davao City in a Great Gatsby-themed party at the SMX Convention Center, SM Lanang Premier in Davao City.
SLDC treated its employees and partners who contributed to its continued growth and success in an epic night with the glitz of dazzling lights.
This is their way of paying tribute to channel their gratitude for the past years in catapulting the company’s name in the real estate industry.
SLDC employees, stockholders, and partners walked through the red carpet as they were greeted by the sheer elegance and luxury of the roaring 1920's themed party. They were transported back to the days of vintage fashion and silver era. Glittering faux crystals and white feather décor added to the elite-styled festivity of the event. The dim lights amplified the luxurious tone while the soft neon glow of the LED on the tables was impeccably accentuated.
President Antonio Nicolas Domingo reminisced the days when SDLC was still striving to create a name in the business. He said that the journey was a roller-coaster ride and oftentimes a run across a vast desert or a boat ride in a vast angry-roaring ocean.
"The road towards success has never been a piece of cake," Domingo said. His resilience, however, helped him cope with the challengeds of time, making him a strong leader for the company.
Meanwhile, the Santos Clan and the members of the board simultaneously gathered around the giant vanilla cake surrounded by cupcakes and blew the 45 candles on it.
The crowd joined them in singing the happy birthday song for the company, signifying the unfolding of another chapter of SLDC as a premier property developer.
Glamorous ladies, clad in flapper black dresses accessorized with feathers, then shook their bodies and grooved with classic and upbeat jazz music, eliciting cheers and applause from the crowd. Gorgeous feathered headbands completed their Gatsby look.
Members of the marketing team also gamely posed for the camera and displayed their stunning outfits. They are part of the department that played a substantial influence on the profitability of the company. It was evident how they prepared for the beautiful evening of style and glam.
The night turned even more exciting as the company raffled off prizes to lucky winners. A P10,000 cash was given away as well as Samsung cellphones and appliances.
Three pairs among guests, stockholders, and SDLC employees were also feted for best outfits of the night.
But the night was not complete with everybody else taking the dance floor and grooving the night away.
It was indeed a fitting ending to a beautiful night.
