Clark International Airport named '15th best in Asia'

CLARK FREEPORT --- The Clark International Airport (CRK) was ranked 15th best airport in Asia in a survey conducted by the Sleeping in Airports.

Other Philippine international gateways that were voted by travellers include Iloilo International Airport (ILO), Top 12; Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB), Top 14; and Davao Francisco Bangoy International Airport (DVO), Top 26.

Every year, the Sleeping in Airports conducts an annual survey asking travellers to rate their experiences on the airports' services and facilities, comfort, terminal cleanliness, food options, immigration ad security, customer service, navigation and ease of transit.

These ratings, comments, and reviews submitted throughout the year make up the Sleeping In Airports' annual Best and Worst Airports list.

Clark airport ranked 24th in Sleeping In Airports survey last year.

The Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) stated that it is elated by the latest development.

"We look forward to making it to the Top 10 next year. Rest assured that CIAC will continue to deliver services to our passengers who have been supporting Clark airport."

The Top 10 best world airports are Changi International Airport (SIN) in Singapore, Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) in South Korea, Haneda International Airport in Japan, Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) in Taiwan, Osaka Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Japan, Chek Lap Kok International Airport in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia, Tokyo Narita International Airport in Japan, Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in India, and New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport in India.
