Miserable with ringworms

(Foreword: This is our continuation with our response to the letter from Hawanya Brent where she is miserable with her ringworms and she wants home remedies that can help her fast.)

DEAR Hawanya Brent,

Here’s more help for your ringworms. Let us get down now to the home remedies you have been looking for.

1. Tea Tree Oil

Get a tea tree preparation in the market that contains as much as 50 percent of the tea tree oil and apply this to affected area twice a day. But, you have to wait for four weeks before you can see an improvement. Again, remember – overnight result is not something you can find here. You would need doses and doses of patience, my dear!

2. Turmeric

Extract some juice using a juice extractor. Then, apply fresh turmeric juice on the areas that are bothering you until you see the problems leave you. Again, do not expect some overnight result, my dear!

3. Vinegar and Salt

Make a paste of vinegar and salt. Apply the mixture directly into affected skin. Let it stay there for about five minutes. You might need seven days s

or so before you can see some good results. Again, patience!

4. Aloe Vera

You can apply the juice directly to your ringworms until you see them go. Again, it may take some of your time.

5. Colloidal Silver

This is an antibiotic that can destroy a lot of dangerous micro-organisms and your ringworms, too. You have to spray or rub this in your fungal infection twice a day until you would see good results. Time is the key here to get what you want.

6. Lavender Oil

You have to apply this for twice a day until you achieve what you want for your ringworms.

7. Lemongrass Tea

You should drink a glass of lemongrass tea three times a day and apply the used tea bags directly to your ringworms. Rinse it off after about 30 minutes.

8. Myrrh

Make a paste by mixing equal amounts of myrrh and golden seal with a small amount of water and apply this to your affected areas three times a day.

9. Olive Leaf

Make an infusion of olive leaf and take this three times a day until your problem goes away. Remember that prevention is still an ounce of cure. So, I want to take the course this time on preventing ringworms. But, I am sorry because we ran out of space again, so please allow me to continue settling your problem on the next issue of my column. Until then!
