THE Alta Vista Golf and Country Club in Pardo will hold the Directors’ Cup this weekend.
The event is a two-day, 18-hole tournament that will be using the Modified Stableford Scoring System and is open to members and guests.
The scoring format awards six points for a net double-eagle, five for an ace, four for eagle, three for birdie, two for par, and one for bogey.
There will be prizes for the top three players of three handicap categories for men and the seniors’ (55 to 69 years old) divisions and the top two for the super seniors (70 years old and above), ladies, and guests.
Entry fee for members is pegged at P700 each of which P200 will be allotted for the club’s charitable projects. Guests will pay P2,000.
There will also be prizes for the longest drive on Hole No. 10, most accurate drive on No. 11 and the nearest to the pin on the par-3 No. 6.
This is organized by the club’s Monthly Medal Committee headed by Engr. Willy T. Go with Michael Lim, Lino Dagus, Bobby Barria, and Toby Florendo as members.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Alta Vista ballroom on Sunday. (PR)
