Cellphone outlet robbed in Zamboanga Sibugay

BURGLARS broke into a cellphone outlet and carted away thousands of pesos worth of mobile phones in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police reported Friday, October 28.

The police said the incident took place around 4 a.m., Friday, in the village of Solar, Olutanga, Zamboanga Sibugay.

The robbery was discovered by utility personnel of the Olutanga Municipal Government around 4:50 a.m., Friday, while they were cleaning the commercial center of Olutanga town.

The owner of the cellphone outlet, businessman Bienvenido Chua, told the police a total of 22 units of mobile phones of different brands and a headset were carted away by the burglars.

The police said the burglars gained entry by destroying the three padlocks at the main door of the cellphone outlet.
