THREE drug personalities were arrested in separate occasions in Baguio City and Benguet in the PNP’s relentless campaign against proliferation of illegal drugs.

A night club dancer was arrested 2:00 a.m. of November 3 following a buy bust operation by the City Anti – Illegal Drugs Unit of the Baguio City Police Office leading to the arrest of Reynaldo de Castro inside a computer shop in Bonifacio St.

Confiscated from de Castro were transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be “shabu” with a total weight of 1.50 grams and a street value of P27,000, one coin purse, and one piece P500 bill as marked money.

On November 2, members of the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station arrested James Acquita Acosta aka Jaime Molina Apellido and Roland Guitala Abriam aka Lokoy during a pot session in a stall at Backfill, Pico, La Trinidad.

Sized during the operation were four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substances suspected to be shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Meanwhile, La Trinidad’s top most wanted was also arrested early morning of November 2 at Km. 6, Poblacion.

Joint operatives of La Trinidad MPS and Regional Public Safety Battalion (RPSB) nabbed Marilou Sangot Alyong of New Lucban who is wanted for four counts of estafa and syndicated estafa.

Also arrested on November 1 for estafa and syndicated estafa is Samuel Lutong Saganib at Happy Hollow by the joint intelligence operatives of BCPO and Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU-14).

Two wanted persons charged for rape and homicide were arrested in their respective residences during the celebration of All Saints Day.

Charged for two counts of rape, are Jeffrey Carias Andizo, 21, of Pudong, Kapangan, Benguet and Jordan Gallema alias Dandan, 27, of Tabuk City, Kalinga.

Meanwhile, Sixto Wansen, 44, farmer, of Natonin, Mountain Province was arrested at around 12 noon of November 1, 2016 by the joint personnel of Buguias and Natonin Municipal Police Station for homicide. (PRO-COR-RPIO)
