A SECURITY GUARD of the Ifugao State University is in critical condition after being shot by still unidentified suspects.
The victim identified as Albert Tuguinay Alindayo, detailed at the Criminology building of the school and currently residing in Kiangan, Ifugao was shot at around 11:30 p.m. of November 7.
Investigation disclosed the victim reported for duty at around 11:00 p.m. after which, outgoing security guard on duty Christopher Bang-agan Domingo reported to the detailed guards at the main gate that Alindayo was already shot.
The two guards on duty immediately rushed the victim at the Panopdopan District Hospital but later referred to the Veterans Regional Hospital, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya for medical treatment.
Domingo later on voluntarily surrendered his issued firearm Cal. 9X19 MM with serial No.56363210 including 16 live ammunition, logbook and handheld radio and further surrendered a Cal. 9mm hand gun revolver Black Widow with four live ammunition for investigation.
The guard also submitted himself for paraffin casting to the Ifugao Crime Laboratory Office.
Ifugao police said the case is still under investigation.
