Man shot dead near Cebu City Hall

A MAN who sells silver jewelry for a living was shot dead in front of the Cebu City Hall at the corners of MC Briones St. and D. Jakosalem St., Cebu City on Friday evening, November 11.

The victim was identified as Bryan Benitez, 28, who lives behind a cemetery in Barangay Carreta.

Benitez was gunned down by motorcycle-riding gunmen at around 8:20 p.m.

He left behind seven children.

The victim's brother, Marvin, 25, said he didn't know any enemies of his brother.

Homicide investigators are still finding out the motive of the crime. (Johanna O. Bajenting/Sunnex)
