SEVEN people were arrested in different anti-illegal drugs operations staged by the Davao City Police Office, of which three were women.
The first drug bust was staged at 8:35 p.m., last Friday, November 11, in Barangay 36-D, Quezon Boulevard where Darwin Isa Unggay, alias Bal-Bal, 22, a resident of Purok 2, Barangay 31-D, and Jhonerr Saupit Saraka, 22, of Purok 1, Mabini were arrested.
Police recovered four packets of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as “shabu” from their possession.
At just past midnight Saturday, November 12, Bunawan Police arrested Nikki Palmera Biabe, 30, a habal-habal driver, and Geronimo Jamito Taypin, 38, company bus driver, while having a pot session inside a bus at CJ Uniworld Company at Purok 3, Millennium San Isidro, Bunawan District.
Authorities seized a packet of substance and drug paraphernalia.
Still last Saturday around 4 p.m., Sta. Ana Police arrested three women in a drug bust headed by Chief Inspector Hamlet Lerios.
The operation was done at Riverbed, Punta, Barangay 76-A, resulting to the arrest of Marisol Mosa Sarawi, 18, Norhaya Sarawi Mosa, 21, and Gerlyn Vistar Dagohoy, 31, all residents of Purok 8, Barangay 31-D, Poblacion.
