P1-M worth of illegal drugs seized in Talisay City

ANTI-NARCOTIC agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Visayas have arrested three drug pushers, including 25 suspected drug users, in two villages in Talisay City Tuesday night, November 15.

Seized from the suspects were P1-million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as "shabu," in the operation conducted in barangays Tangke and San Roque.

The police said one of the suspects identified as Carlos Abalo is a member of suspected drug lord Franz Sabalones.

Abalo denied that he is a member of Sabalones, saying he is a fisherman. He admitted, however, that he is using illegal drugs. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
