Tupad beneficiaries get P4.3-M

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Pampanga Government in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment Centra Luzon (DOLE-3) gave a total of P4.3 million cash incentive to 1,221 Tulong Pangkabuhayan Para sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers (Tupad) beneficiaries at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center here.

Acting Governor Dennis "Delta" Pineda together with Provincial Employment and Services Office (Peso) Head Luningning Vergara and Provincial Dole head Arlene Tolentino personally handed the cash incentives to the beneficiaries.

The Tupad beneficiaries were from the towns of Bacolor, San Simon, Lubao and City of San Fernando.

This is the third batch of salary distribution for the Tupad program that provided 1,221 displaced workers, underemployed and poor kabalens emergency employment for a minimum period of 10 days.

The Tupad beneficiaries received P3,4570 each.

The P4,358,970 was distributed by the Provincial Government.
