Car-azy

THE ultimate dream of driving that shiny brand new car is now easier to fulfill as BPI Family Savings Bank offered its expertise on auto loans in the cities of Cebu and Davao with its bi-annual event, BPI Family Auto Madness. It happened over the weekend, garnering around 700 viewers over three days from Nov. 11 to 13 at Ayala Center Cebu and Nov. 10 to 13 at Abreeza Mall in Davao.

“BPI Family Auto Madness is an event which we do twice a year here in Cebu usually on the first quarter and the third or fourth quarter of the year. This is the time of the year where we put all of the brands in one roof here in Ayala, our sister company. In this event we are giving out freebies and special rates. This is a special event where the clients just come and see all their favorite brands under just one roof, no need to jump from one showroom to another,” said Wilburt Yu, market head of the Autoloans Division of BPI Family Savings Bank.

Providing the opportunity of assessing not only the type of car that would suit one’s taste but also those that would suit one’s budget and providing on hand immediate inspection for the realization of this dream, BPI Family Savings Bank with their BPI Family Loan Advisors talked to clients not only about car features but also the kind of lifestyle these cars will be able to support.

“We know that the Cebuano family’s dream is to have their own car. In BPI, we try to make that dream a reality for them. Since we were kids, we’ve had dreams of having our own cars. And then when we grew up there are times when we hesitate in buying a car because of financial constraints or we’re afraid to just spend on a car. Here in Family Bank we try to lessen the constraints or apprehensions in buying a car. We give them financial advice in buying a car and then we try to package their loan based on their income,” said Wilburt.

The event was introduced in 1998, having become a yearly tradition since then which Cebuanos often look forward to. This 2016 is its 19th year and the Auto Madness event was the biggest so far with over 20 car models to choose from under one roof.

“It’s like the Cebuanos are waiting for this event. We’ve added more dealers for the second time for this year.

But it’s not limited to households. We’re also venturing to cars for business purposes not just for personal use, and for the dealers we’ve asked them to display their top models for we do not really control them on what models to display specifically,” said Wilburt.
