Kabayan, La Trinidad ink sisterhood pact

BENGUET’S capital town and Kabayan formally forged a sisterhood.

The twinning agreement aims to establish friendship and understanding between the two LGUs and the exchange of ideas, practices and technology.

La Trinidad Councilor Roderick Awingan said the agreement will help both towns in the exchange of culture, assistance, technology and resources.

Councilor Marlon Nginsayan of Kabayan meanwhile said the sisterhood act was passed by the municipality in September 17 this year.

Kabayan is a fourth class municipality with a total population of more than 15,200 people while the capital town has the largest population with 129, 133.

The agreement was forwarded to Mayors Romeo Salda and Gidoen Todiano for confirmation and signing
