AN ESTIMATED P191,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized in three separate drug bust operations in Negros Occidental on Sunday.

Chief Inspector Mark Anthony Darroca, chief of Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Unit (PAIDU), told Sun.Star Bacolod the first operation was conducted against Abdul Dimasangkay and his partner Jamela Bolanto at Ilagan Street, Barangay 6 in San Carlos City at about 6:40 a.m.

The couple, who hail from Lanao del Norte, sold shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to a police agent for P1,200.

Police identified the suspects as Edna Sibuco and Gerryvil Oliveros, both of Barangay 3.

Police seized three sachets of shabu with an estimated value of P95,000, drug paraphernalia, and the P300 marked money.

The couple, along with Sibuco’s father, are under the city’s drugs watchlist.

The latter told police operatives that they get their supply of shabu from Sibuco and Oliveros.
