AN UNIDENTIFIED woman, believed to be in her 20s or 30s, was found dead in one of the mountain barangays in Sibonga, Cebu, Monday morning with a gunshot wound in her chest.
Local police, who are investigating on the woman's mysterious death in Barangay Guimbangko, still have to identify the victim.
There were no items that could determine her identity. Residents in the area do not know who the woman is.
Senior Inspector Reynaldo Geolin, of the Sibonga Police Station, said that some residents heard multiple gunshots before the woman was found.
The residents did not pay attention to it since they initially thought those were fireworks.
