PRC sets renewal of licenses in Dumaguete City

IT’S all systems go for the renewal of licenses by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on December 10 at the Robinson’s Place shopping mall in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

The PRC mobile licensing renewal will cater to all professionals and license holders who are encouraged to avail of the services so they no longer have to travel to Cebu, said Ma. Socorro Mira, head of the Public Employment Service Office (Peso) of Dumaguete City.

The PRC is partnering with Peso for the mobile renewal of licenses, where applicants are requested to pre-register, said Mira on Monday, November 21.

The first 1,000 applicants will be given priority numbers which they can obtain at the Peso in 2nd floor of Bldg. II of the Dumaguete City public market complex, Mira said.

It will be a first come, first served activity, the Peso chief said.

The first 500 priority applicants will be accommodated in the morning and the second batch of 500 applicants in the afternoon.

Mira said there is no reservation fee for this activity, but only a renewal fee.

Mira added the PRC will bring a printer so that identification cards can be printed on the same day for an additional P450 fee.

Otherwise, applicants may also request that their PRC ID’s be sent through the Peso, according to Mira. (PNA)
