SSS lauded for compliance with international quality standards

THE Social Security System (SSS) received its second Certificate of Recognition from the Government Quality Management Committee (GQMC) for the pension fund’s successful efforts to adhere to international quality standards, particularly with the ISO 9001:2008 requirements, during the 4th Recognition Ceremony held on November 10 at the Land Bank of the Philippines Auditorium in Malate, Manila.

SSS was lauded this year for the ISO certification attained by its branches in La Union, Baguio, Camiling, Pasig-Shaw, Taguig, Calamba, Legazpi, Bacolod, Cebu, and Butuan, and their corresponding Processing Centers in La Union, Tarlac, Pasig, Makati, San Pablo, Diliman, Iloilo, Cebu, and Cagayan de Oro. The certification covered the processes of the Registration and Coverage System including those for management and support. (PR)
