3 Cebuano grads top licensure exam for teachers

(UPDATED) -- Three Cebuano graduates made it to the top 10 of the September 2016 licensure examination for teachers.

The Cebuanos who made it to the top 10 for secondary level teachers are Ian Christian Paler Cosido, who ranked 4th with 89.20 percent, Javee Cose Armamento, who is in 8th place with 88.40 percent, while Flordeliz-Joy Pansag, landed in 9th place with 88.20 percent.

Cosido and Pansag are both products of the Cebu Normal University, while Armamento is from the University of San Carlos.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results on Monday, November 28.

The PRC also announced that 23,378 elementary teachers out of 77,466 examinees, and 31,334 secondary teachers out of 92,754 examinees passed the exam.
