Ayala launches 2nd Symphony of Lights

THIS year’s Christmas is made brighter as Ayala Center Cebu launched its annual lights and sound show “Symphony of Lights” Wednesday, November 30, 6 p.m. at The Terraces.

Orchestrated by the award-winning lights and sound director Voltaire de Jesus, Symphony of Lights is an annual display of lights in sync with the music of Christmas carols.

Ayala Center Cebu's Symphony of Lights started November 27, 2015, an event to portray the happy memories spent with loved ones.

“When we started Symphony of Lights last year, we wanted it to become a symbol of happy memories we spent with loved ones. Today, we continue this as a tradition with the bright and colorful lights and a classic Christmas music. We hope to bring you, our shoppers, a heartwarming Christmas in Ayala Center Cebu,” Ayala Center Cebu General Manager Celeste “Bong” Dy said in her opening message.

Mikmik Corvera, marketing manager of Ayala Center Cebu, said the event is a means of giving back to the community, spreading the holiday cheer and at the same time providing venue for bonding and entertainment options for the entire family.

Performing in the event were the world-renowned singing group Loboc Children’s Choir of Bohol, EliteKidsBAMStars and String Edition, singing and playing Christmas songs to the audience.

On its second year, Corvera said they will be adding more lights on the railings surrounding the terraces, making this Christmas brighter and merrier in Ayala.

The Symphony of Lights will run nightly every 30 minutes from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. until January 31, 2017. (Sunnex)
