34 YEARS after graduating from high school, the class of 1982 of Saint Louis Boys' High School organized another reunion of sorts to gather old pals and renew ties with the other "kids" and "teens" who they spent at least four years of their lives with. It was indeed another huge success as at least forty nine batch mates came together for the annual sortie that started a little over seven years ago. What was truly amazing and heartwarming was the arrival and attendance of a good number of classmates from overseas, particularly the US West Coast Team composed of PJ Pati, Randy Foronda (basketball intrams champion and holder of the bragging rights), Ed Tungol, Art Retuya, George Macabitas, Bong Villar (Canada), Leo Ramirez (Hawaii), John Caburian (Australia), Jay Salinel (Dubai), Jun Lacanilao (Singapore) and Randy Ruelos (Malaysia). The farthest attendee was Ewad Posadas (very "Patriotic") of Pluto and Uranus!
Kudos to out-going President Art Peralta and his great team. Of course this would not have been possible had it not been for the gentle handiwork of my idol Itong Tan who silently "directed" everything from the sidelines. Congrats to the incoming President Dr. Junn Dizon, an Outstanding Citizen of Baguio Awardee, who now has the big responsibility to raise funds for the batch and prepare for Club 7882's big bang 35th year anniversary in 2017.
