CAPAS –- The Philippine Army shooting contingent bagged 23 gold, 14 silver, and 26 bronze medals during the recently concluded Asean Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) which was held at Camp O’Donnell.
Task Force AARM Commander Brigadier General Herminigildo Francisco Aquino said the achievement of the Philippine Army shooting contingent is a quantum leap against the Asean heavyweights, Indonesia and Thailand.
Aquino added this international event helped improve the capabilities of Philippine army soldiers and showcase their marksmanship skills.
“We bagged more gold than expected, always at the top three competing for the top spot,” he said. (PR)
