THE Baguio City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) reminded groups wanting to carol around the city to secure a permit.
CSWD officer Betty Fangasan said groups who wish to raise funds during the Christmas season, by caroling needs to get permit from their office especially if it is a fund raising activity.
Would be carolers are required to secure a permit from authorities for their activities.
While there are no penal sanctions for those groups who do not have permit, Fangasan said the the public is reminded to give their money of any amount only to those who have legitimate purposes.
u201cIf they have no permit, let us not give kasi that is exactly saying na they will just get your money without any purpose, it is for them, part of their earning,” Fangasan said.
