New La Trinidad top cop named

NEWLY installed La Trinidad Municipal Police Station Officer-in-Charge Chief of Police Benson Macli-ing is urging the locals to help them in achieving a peaceful community.

“We wish to work hand in hand with the locals to attain peace and order in our locality,” Macli-ing said.

The newly assigned officer added he will align and will continue the peace and order program which has already been implemented by the municipality and at the same time resolve the growing number of theft and robbery in the valley.

“We want to address theft and robbery. We want to stop these being the most prevalent problems. With the help of the community, solutions will go hand in hand,” Macli-ing emphasized.

Macli-ing added valley police will also help in the implementation of new traffic schemes that will be ordered by the mayor or the town’s local council.

“We have discussed and committed to continue with the implementation of the different ordinances in the municipality while executing the anti-drug campaign of the national police,” La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda said.

Salda added the town’s top cop will also reinforce all ordinance implementations specifically the curfew to minors, liquor ban, tobacco and momma ordinance.
