RENELO Lastierre, vice president and spokesperson of the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees (Pace) in Negros Occidental, said they were informed on Tuesday that they will receive an additional bonus of P27,000.
“That’s what the reliable source said and the basis for the release of additional bonus is the Incentive Benefits for Exemplary Services or the awards received by the province,” he said.
Lastierre added that they expect a confirmation from the Provincial Budget Office on the exact amount of the additional bonus expected to be released before the New Year.
Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. had earlier confirmed that the Capitol employees will receive the additional bonus, but he did not say the exact figure.
Lastierre said that some of the employees already received the P8,000 Collective Negotiation Agreement incentive, and the P5,000 Productive Enhancement Incentive while some employees are still processing the release.
Non-release of uniforms
Lastierre said the Capitol employees are complaining about the non-release of their uniforms for almost a year already.
He added that they received a lot of complaints because they have already paid P3,000 to P4,000 in January 2016 for the three pairs of uniforms.
The Capitol employees received a P5,000 clothing allowance.
Lastierre said they have pending requests with the Provincial Treasurer’s Office about the exact amount or figure of the amount involved, and to the Uniform Committee for its contract with the supplier of the uniform.
