JOJO Viray emerged champion in the just-concluded Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba) weekly qualifying bowling tournament held last Saturday evening at the NCCC Mall Davao B3 Center.
Viray rolled a total of 650 pinfalls after three games to pocket the top purse of P1,200, outclassing Paquito Santos and Billy Magdale who occupied the next two spots, respectively.
Santos hit a total of 633 pins to claim the runner-up prize of P800 while Magdale had 625 pins to receive P500.
The games for the May monthly finals were still being played at press time.
