Apartment 8: For Davao's fashionistas

APARTMENT 8, a one-stop apparel shop, recently opened its doors to Dabawenyos for a whole new definition of what it is like to be "at home" with fashion.

It is a garden-themed branch, located at 2nd floor (beside Onesimus) of SM City Davao on Quimpo Boulevard, and was opened last May 13.

The Davao outlet is the first outside Metro Manila, joining other branches in selling latest designs of ready-to-wear fashion pieces that are reasonable yet of high quality.

Other branches are found at Alabang Town Center, Ayala Fairview Terraces, Tiendesitas, The Ramp Crossing Trinoma, The Ramp Crossings Glorietta 3, The Ramp Crossings Q Avenue, Greenhills Shoppesville, and 33B Scout Borromeo Street South Triangle (main branch).

Apartment 8 is owned by siblings Kenneth So, Shieralyn So-Lim, and Stephanie So.

Stephanie said they have chosen Davao City as the first branch outside Metro Manila since most of their market in social media is from Davao City.

"We're hoping to get the Mindanao market. Based on the feedbacks we get in Instagram, we have a lot of buyers from Davao so we decided to open a branch here. Before they can only shop online, but now they can already get the clothes straight from our store," she added.

Shieralyn believes that their brand will not only make women look good, but feel good as well.

It also serves as a flexible brand that also paves the way in fashion for trendy moms, professional women and those with a more mature taste. From teens to post-teens, the brand has designs to surely entice females of any age.

"We design our own clothes to make our customers look good and feel good. When we design, we make sure it is full of passion and love. Bumabagay siya sa lahat eh," Shieralyn said.

With a number of boutiques and an equally competent online store, Apartment 8 has truly become the top choice in ladies fashion.

Visit their shop now and start to make yourselves feel and look good, roommates! (ANC)
