TEAM Lakay head coach Mark Sangiao is set to conduct a talk on MMA at the Sabah Top Team Gym at Kota Kinabalu on February.
Coaching techniques, building solid connections with the team, with different local and international promoters, and how to improve skills as a mixed martial arts fighter will be among the key points to be discussed in the three-day seminar.
Sangiao’s name had been all over Asia as one of the top coaches of MMA fighters who not only basked the limelight but became champions themselves.
His wards include newly minted One Championship world lightweight champion Eduard Folayang, former ONE featherweight world champion Honorio Banario, former PXC bantamweight titlist Crisanto Pitpitunge, title contenders Kevin Belingon, Geje Eustaquio, Joshua Pacio, among others.
Sabah Top Team’s head coach and owner, Antonio Battistessa said that seminar will not only inform the attendees but will have a chance to acquire MMA techniques from one of the Region’s best coaches.
As one of the producers of Muay Thai professional fighters in Southeast Asia, Sabah Top Team contends to make MMA champions as well while Battistessa hopes the upcoming seminar will boost Sabah’s MMA scenario.
