ORMOC CITY, Leyte - Mimugna og Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) ang kapulisan sa rehiyon 8 alang sa nahitabong pagpamomba sa Hilongos, Leyte sa miaging semana.
Gibutyag ni P/CSupt. Elmer Beltejar, direktor sa kapulisan sa Easter Visayas, nga tumong sa pagmugma sa Task Force Hilongos mao ang pagkab-ot sa hinanali nga kasulbaran sa kaso.
Ang SITG Hilongos gilangkuban ni Beltejar isip supervisor; P/SSUpt Allan Cuevillas, SITG commander; PSSupt. Franco Simborio, asst. commander; P/Cinsp. Bella Rentuaya, spokesperson ug P/Supt. Jojie Tabios sa CIDG-8 isip head of investigation.
Lakip usab niini ang laing opisyal gikan sa Regional Intelligence Unit ug Division ug ingon man sa Hilongos PNP.
Apil usab nga motabang sa imbestigasyon ang taga National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) pinangulohan ni Atty. Jerry Abiera ug Capt. Jay Dayap sa Philippine Army, 802nd brigade.
“The SITG is created to spearhead and coordinate the investigation and prosecutorial efforts of PRO8 for the speedy resolution and successful prosecution on the explosion incident occured in Hilongos, Leyte,” padayag sa PRO8.

Samtang si P/CInsp. Alberto Renomeron sa Hilongos PNP nagkanayon nga duna na silay persons of interest tungod sa nakuhang footage sa closed circuit television camera (CCTV) sa lugar.
