TWO persons were shot to death by unidentified men at Purok 2, Barangay Poblacion in Basay, Negros Oriental on Wednesday.
Police identified the fatalities as Pev Neil Pamaypay, 17, and Mansueto Supatan, 51.
Investigation showed that both victims were sleeping in a hut owned by Juditho Utzurrum when the assailants fired at them around 4 a.m.
Both victims succumbed to head injuries.
Police recovered from the crime scene a knife, four fired cartridges and a slug of .9mm caliber pistol.
