RELEASE. The Commission on Elections (Comelec)

should release the result of its investigation on the data heists that resulted in the theft of over 55 million personal records from the poll body's website, Malacañang said on Friday.

HALF-DAY WORK. The Supreme Court (SC) has announced that work in all courts in Manila will be over by noontime of Monday, January 9, due to the expected difficulty in transportation to be caused by the pilgrimage of the Black Nazarene (Traslacion).

LESSER. Despite the heavy rain, the police said around 40,000 Sto. Niño devotees joined the procession. Last year, the crowd who attended the dawn procession was estimated at 300,000 plus.
