"I LOOK for somebody who can take the job."

This was the response of reigning queen Pia Wurtzbach when asked what she's looking for in the next Miss Universe.

The 27-year-old continued that it is natural that people will gravitate towards the best looking, sexiest or the candidate with the strongest answer, but she's looking for that someone who has it all.

"What I look for is the over-all personality and attitude because you are applying for a job. It's not going to end during the pageant night. It actually starts there," she said at her recent Facebook Live chat with fans.

Wurtzbach added that whoever wins the 65th edition of the prestigious pageant should be fully committed in her role as Miss Universe.

She said the work is not just a walk in the park and it entails one's energy, dedication and passion in serving others.

"Someone who is ready to take on the job for a year. You have to commit to it. It has to be something you really want to do not just for the moment because it's fun, it will make you popular."

Asked what the candidates should take from the competition, Wurtzbach advised the girls to take a lot of photos, have fun, makes friends and do their best in this once in a lifetime opportunity.

"This is something you can't do again. You only get one chance to do it and you want to make sure you represent your country well, that you represent yourself well, and at the same time that you are having fun with it."

The Filipina beauty will crown her successor on January 30, 2017 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. (Sunnex)
