Ex-Bulls player holds cage seminar, training

FORMER Chicago Bulls power forward James Booyer III personally spearheaded the seminar lecture and training of the Muscle Power Agility and Conditioning (MPAC) Basketball Elite Training Academy that opened Monday, January 9, at the Gaisano Grand CitiMall Skygym.

Business Development and Program coordinator Rael Diaz, in Facebook chat with SunStar Davao, said Booyer is backed by coach Arthur Talley who came all the way from the United States of America to provide local players international quality of training and strength conditioning.

Diaz said the academy has been operating for nine years in the region, serving players, coaches, and teams.

The academy covers fundamental skills training that includes shooting, ball handling, individual moves, footwork, passing and position play.

It will also hold youth leagues and tournaments as well as academic scholarship after the training.

Enrollment is still ongoing. Registration is pegged at P2,400 per month.

Diaz said they will handle two sessions a week with a duration of one hour per session.

Participants may choose schedule between 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Thursday.

Everyone may visit their office at Matina Town Square second floor or contact them at (0947) 706-5912/(0915) 596-8576 or visit their page at pinoy@mpacsports.com.
