KMH rolls off 991 to lead Trios inter-squad bowling

KAMI Mga Hubin (KMH) led by founding member Robbie Elegado toppled 991 pinfalls for the lead in the ongoing 2017 KMH Inter-Squad Trios Duckpin Bowling League Season One at Negros Super Lanes in Bacolod City.

Precy Pillo posted her high-scoring games to help set the highest team triple feat as KMH scored a 336, 328, and 327.

Teammates Peter Deocadez, Dr. Rockie Elegado, and Sharon Sioson were on a roll, too leaving second-running Monday Club on its heels.

Managed by Albert Solidarios, MC Sliders got 947 pfs while running third Sports Journ starring Hernand Garciniego registered 945 pfs in the men's division.

Triple D, with anchor Tess Robles and teammates Cheryl Ramos and Tata Tolentino, secured the number one spot in the distaff side with 849.

League director James Toga said college and high school alumni squads will be allowed to join the games tonight, taking into consideration the long Christmas holidays, which caused them to miss the opening.

“Other bowling groups can still catch up. They just need to register their team on the lanes before game time,” Toga added.

Rounding up the Men’s category are: JF Bantilan - 907; Fireballs - 905; RBY - 893; Aldrtz - 831; Team Bolog - 824 while the Women’s category: D’ Explorer - 826; and Black Hawk - 778.

This amateur duckpin bowling league is scheduled for six games and is played every Wednesdays and Fridays at 6:30 p.m.

Every team is limited to six members including the captain and manager. Bowlers are also allowed to use personal balls in this event supervised by Sonny Elegado with Essho Garcia, Deocadez and Pillo as members of the working committee.
