CAGAYAN Electric Power and Light Company Inc. (Cepalco) is set to implement a 12-hour power outage to do restructuring works on a 69KV pole in Tagoloan town, Misamis Oriental on Sunday, January 15.
In the announcement posted on its website, Cepalco will also complete the preformed line product installation along the newly upgraded Kirahon-Tagoloan 69KV line at the national highway of San Martin, Villanueva.
The scheduled power interruption will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Affected areas include HCH Corporation, Tagoloan, Natumulan old road from crossing Vicmar including Tigger/Prycegas to Natumulan proper, Along Vicmar road from Misortel, Polar Bear up to Jetti Depot, Natumulan proper (Kimwa, Paras G&P Builders, Oro Steel and PACCO), El Mundo St., Sabio Compound and NGCP road, Cepalco District Office, Emano Crusher, UKC Crusher and Solid Built Crusher, San Martin Highway, Villanueva from Philippine National Police Headquarters including JG Processing Wood Corporation to Buguac and Bilayong area.
The power distribution utility will also implement 30-minute switching from 6-7:30 a.m. and 4:30-6 p.m.
Power switching will affect portion of Poblacion Tagoloan, Tagoloan Church and convent areas including Arellano St., St. Mary's School, Mactan Rock Industries and Phividec Pump Station, Tagoloan proper along Tagoloan Highway, all the Barangays of Baluarte, Pulot, Sugbongcogon, and PACCO/Vicmar area up to Kibulda.
All the barangays of Sta. Cruz including Phividec office area, Mohon, Sta. Ana, Nasalaban, Buntong and Sto. Rosario, Centro San Martin old road, Villanueva and portion of Solane, Pilipinas Shell including Kirahon Resettlement area, JACOBI and KSEC PV plant are also affected.
Cepalco will also implement load transfer which will interrupt power for two hours from 6 to 8 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. and will only affect Del Monte Philippines Inc., Bugo.
Cepalco said it will restore power immediately without further notice after line and switching works are completed even earlier than scheduled.
