CELEBRITY couple Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia are planning to exchange wedding vows during first quarter of next year.
Garcia said that because of their busy schedules it is not possible to plan the wedding this year.
The actress added that she wants to get married during the summer season.
"It's my favorite time of the year. And parang masyadong soon naman kung this summer kasi nangyari lang (lang ang engagement) end of last year. Magkukulang sa planning,” Garcia said.
According to Garcia, she has a soap opera and a new movie coming up this year.
Crawford, on his part, is still part of “It’s Showtime” and headlining “Your Face Sounds Familiar.”
“Mas madali siguro magplano kung mabibigyan talaga ng oras,” Garcia added.
The two got engaged last month in front of their closest family and friends.
Crawford revealed in a television interview that he bought the diamond engagement ring more than a year ago and he just waited for the right time to ask Garcia’s hand in marriage.
At 24, Garcia said she’s ready to settle down.
She also doesn’t see being married as a disadvantage in her career in show business.
“I don’t think life should stop when you get married. I don’t think your career should be any different once you get married.”
Garcia said the audience is intelligent enough to discern what is reel from real.
"We live in a modern world now. Our audience is more intelligent than that. Kapag nanood sila ng movie or teleserye, lang importante nakikita nila yung character, hindi yung tao, hindi yung artista,” she said.
The Kapamilya actress ended: "I really wish to get to a point in my career wherein yung character talaga ang nakikita. And I will continue to portray different kinds of characters.” (Sunnex)
