No classes in elementary, high schools in Cebu Province on January 17

THE Province of Cebu has suspended classes in both elementary and high school levels in all public and private schools due to anticipated heavy rainfall on Tuesday, January 17.

Jason Monteclar of Cebu Public Information Office said private schools are advised to take precautionary announcement for college levels.

Mandaue City Mayor Luigi Quisumbing also ordered the suspension of classes in elementary and high school levels for public schools in the city.

Cebu City, meanwhile, has not yet declared any suspension for Tuesday's classes. (SunStar Philippines)
