MORE than P8 million worth of forest products were confiscated by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) 7 last year.Ariel Rica, DENR 7 Enforcement Division chief, said 145 anti-illegal logging operations were conducted in Central Visayas, which resulted to the confiscation of 190 cubic meters of forest products that included lumber, timber, firewood, charcoal, logbolts, hull, boules, among others.
