Magnitude 2.0 quake hits Maguindanao

MAGUINDANAO -- A magnitude 2.0 earthquake struck South Upi, Maguindanao, at 9:47 p.m. Thursday, January 19.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded the epicenter at 35 kilometers northwest of South Upi with a depth of 18 kilometers.


Phivolcs said there are no expected damages and aftershocks.
