MCDONALD'S Philippines came out with a new budget friendly meal, the new Mushroom Pepper Steak, last Dec. 28, 2016. This meal is a welcome addition to McDonald’s range of filling and affordable rice meals. It features a juicy burger patty, smothered in a mushroom cream sauce with a hint of pepper, and topped off with sliced button mushrooms.
#STEAKation—this is the perfect affordable yet stunningly delicious meal to grab when one is in the mood to take a break or just spoil himself. Taste the one-piece Mushroom Pepper Steak with a regular drink. It also comes as a two-piece meal with a regular drink. Both meals can be upgraded to come with a McFreeze.
According to McDonald’s senior product manager Cholo Perreras, this is their very first rice meal with a beef patty and an innovated sauce. He adds that it is important for the company to stay as relevant as possible to its customers. As an international fast food chain, it always tries to set the bar high by always considering anything that is on trend and catering to the customer’s wants and preference.
