PIA Wurtzbach and Marlon Stockinger made their first public appearance as a couple.
The two arrived together Sunday evening at Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Manila for an event organized in honor of the reigning Miss Universe Wurtzbach.
Just last week, the 27-year-old beauty queen confirmed that they are in a relationship and said that she’s happy to have finally met someone who supports her career.
Wurtzbach added that aside from being both Catholic and Filipino, they also have a lot of things in common and they enjoy each other’s company.
“I’m glad that I finally met somebody who’s very secure with himself and who understands my job. And who’s not afraid to let me have my moment such as right now,” she said.
Stockinger, on his part, said he likes Wurtzbach because she’s true to herself, intelligent, straightforward and very funny.
"I like for who she is with or without the crown. She’s been really wonderful. She’s really, really funny. I didn’t expect it but we always laugh together. We laugh a lot.”
The couple started dating in latter part of 2016. Wurtzbach even celebrated the New Year with the professional race car driver’s family in Hawaii. (SunStar Philippines)
