AMERICAN beauties Olivia Jordan and Nia Sanchez have arrived in Manila ahead of the 65th Miss Universe pageant happening on January 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

"Counting my blessings. Have to pinch myself that I am back in the Philippines. Thank you for the beautiful welcome this morning!” Jordan wrote in an Instagram post.

Sanchez, for her part, uploaded a video first thing Monday morning and wasn’t able to hide her excitement over meeting the 86 Miss Universe candidates and reconnecting with friends.

“Can’t wait to see my Class of 2014 girls, and can’t wait to head to rehearsals to meet all of the Miss Universe ladies,” she wrote.

Jordan and Sanchez placed 2nd and 1st runner-ups to Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and 2014 Miss Universe Paulina Vega, respectively. (SunStar Philippines)
