THE Apo Learning Village School (ALVS) clinched the title in the first NCCC B3 Inter-High School Table Tennis Mixed Doubles Tournament held at the NCCC B3 Center Lanes Saturday, January 21.

ALVS composed of Jose Miguel Puno and Calvin Lee triumphed over the Trisha Mae Sasuman and Gracezel Ablanque-bannered Crossing Bayabas National High School (CBNHS) 9-11, 11-9, 6-11, 12-10, 11-9, who placed second instead.

Precious International School of Davao (PISD), however, placed third in the event organized by the NCCC B3 in celebration of the Chinese New Year.

Other teams entered were Calinan National High School, Davao Macarius Child Academy Inc., Holy Cross of Davao College and University of Mindanao.

The champion took home P4,000, medals and bowling certificates while the CBNHS and PISD received P3,000 and P2,000, respectively.

No one went home with an empty pocket as the NCCC B3 gave a consolation prize of P1,000 to all non-winners.
