Utzurrum: Kung Hei Fat Choi – Fire Rooster!

COME Jan. 28, Saturday, all roads lead to celebrations of the Chinese Lunar New Year, symbolized by the Fire Rooster!

Over at Radisson Blu Cebu, we met Kuala Lumpur-based seasoned Chef Steve Ang, who brought with him 13 years of experience in traditional and modern Cantonese dishes and Szechuan fine dining cuisine, having been assigned in hotel kitchens in Dubai, India and the Philippines.

Chef Steve was a guest chef especially flown here to whip up these specialties: Prosperity Salmon Salad (Yee Sang), braised crab meat soup with dried scallops with truffle oil, roasted honey glazed pork spareribs, steamed tiger prawns in egg white and Chinese soya wine, steamed red Lapulapu in Szechuan style chopped chili, beef cube tenderloin in pepper sauce with garlic flakes and braised mushroom in crispy pork knuckle.

Savor these fiery dishes with Peking Duck, a variety of dimsum and assorted seafood. Celebrate tradition and good fortune only at Feria Restaurant for P980 net per person, for buffet lunch or dinner.
