THE Central Visayas Adoptive Parents Association (CVAPA) together with Cebu Grand Hotel will be hosting a run for a cause dubbed as I Love Run! Born From the Heart on Feb. 5 at the Axis Courtyard in Escario St.
The run is one of the activities of CVAPA for the nationwide celebration of Adoption Consciousness Week on Feb. 11 to 18. All proceeds of the event will go to the abandoned children through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
“The association is committed to help the kids on DSWD’s list, who are abandoned,” said CVAPA president Kaking Sy in a press conference at the Cebu Grand Hotel yesterday. The fun run, handled by Iconic Sports + Events, will feature four categories— 10-kilometer, 5K, 3K, and the kiddie dash.
