A MAN was arrested in a drug bust in Purok Sigay in Barangay 2, Bacolod City Thursday night.
Arrested was Arian Mark Salaver, 27, who was in the priority target list of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (CAIDSOTG).
Senior Inspector Ramel Bustamante, head of CAIDSOTG, said the suspect yielded seven sachets containing suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride), drug paraphernalia, and P300 marked money.
The suspect, who was released from the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City four months ago, also yielded a gun replica with magazine.
Bustamante said the suspect was also involved in theft and robbery hold-up incidents in the area of Police Station 2.
Criminal charges were filed on Friday against the suspect, who is detained at Police Station 2. (MPE)
